Work Opportunity Tax Credit
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit is designed to promote the hiring of individuals from specific target populations. One of the targeted populations is ex-offenders, due to the difficulties which these members of society face when attempting to gain employment. This tax credit benefits the employer, employee, and the communities where these ex-offenders are hired. Increasing the amount of ex-offenders employed helps to lower the recidivism rate, keeps our community safer, and reduces the amount of taxes being spent on jails and prisons.

Fidelity Bonding Program
Employers who hire ex-offenders can be protected against potential theft, property damage, and other types of employee dishonesty. This program that is provided is of special importance because it allows for an employer to provide an ex-offender with a job opportunity without placing themselves at risk of a financial loss due to any misdeeds committed by that employee. The program is provided free of charge, lasts for up to 6 months, and there is no deductible.
